Hurst is revered for his spirited and vibrant style which graced the pages of thousands of books and magazines for four decades. Hurst provided illustrations for such popular periodicals as Collier's and Home Magazine. Fans of illustration, good girl art, and popular culture will find this book a must. Hurst was also active illustrating children's books as well, and numerous examples of all of his work are in evidence in The Art of Earl Oliver Hurst. The book is edited by illustration and comic art dealer Mitch Itkowitz and was designed by Itkowitz and Brandi Budziak.
